The camping Treinta y Tres Orientales,
located in the capital of the department of Durazno, offers
to the visitor beautiful natural surroundings, to borders of
the Yí river surrounded by a dense native
vegetation preserved and taken advantage of good. It is indeed
in this camping that sets out a long walk by small beaches next
to the river. The stroll takes something more than one hour
and really it is worth
the trouble to make it. Once in the city of Durazno, street
Dr Emilio Penza, in the direction of the stage Ernesto de Leon,
leads to the camping Treinta y Tres Orientales. Its access is
located a pair of kilometers advanced more. The camping counts
on a zone of tents of 15 hectares, distributed in three areas
that differ in their location with respect to the services available
and to the coast. Few meters later, is an extensive and high
native forest that ingeniously lodges barbecuers under its trees.
On the main street, are colorful modules where
all type of services is lent. There as much meat as frozen or
bread can be bought. In front of them the children park and
the administration of the camping are located. If one advances
meters arrives at the Playa del Sausal -beach of the Sauzal-,
an ample sand extension white to borders of the Yí river.
The waters of the river are limpid, without indications of aquatic
vegetation and if approximate depth is of three meters. The
current of the river is smooth and single it is clouded after
strong rains. Across of the Yí a thick native vegetation
is seen that it hits by the variety of tones of green. Once
in Playa del Sausal, by hand right are the boats and canoes
that are offered in rent. The lovers of the fishing will find
in the zone the possibility of touching a good resentment. Next
to the boats the route begins towards the east by a sand footpath
that runs underneath the dense native vegetation. Of the right
side of the way there are two little houses with view to the
river.
As the traveller advances goes into in the forest,
allowing to traveller to protecte of the sun and to breathe
fresh air. The long walk tries to accompain the course of the
river. Towards the right, underneath the compact vegetation,
some isolated barbecuers are located. After descending six steps
from stone, one bends towards the left to arrive at a small
beach denominated by the villagers like the Tupamaros. Due to
so large his reduced and to the hoisted surroundings he has
a particular enchantment. When continuing by the marked footpath,
one descries sky it through the branches of the mount. The ways
are several that furrow the area, which does difficult to mark
one like definitive. In any case one is due to try not to move
away too much of the coast. The following beach that arises
in the route is called of the Lovers beach, ampler than previous
but the smaller one than the Sauzal beach. Also it has white
